Our plant health programs are designed to promote overall vigor of your tree and shrubs and resist insect and disease impact.

Using a five-application program, HB’s Tree & Shrub plant health programs include:

• Dormant Oil applied in late winter or early spring; smothers insect eggs to prevent hatching
• Three Insect & Disease inspections and treatments designed to control insects that may come from neighboring yards and/or airborne diseases that can be blown in
• Deep Root Fertilizer used to promote root growth and top growth and is usually applied in the fall or spring

Horstmann Brothers’ Integrated Pest Management system means that our customers’ trees and shrubs will not receive sprays unless it is needed. Our licensed applicators visit throughout the season to inspect the plants and then treat any areas necessary.
